I guess what I’m trying to understand is if my pressure is taken care of but water temp isn’t as high will I still filter water correctly just not as fast so rejection would be higher also would this make the resin in the DI have a shorter life. New to the reef hobby so this is all new to me
 
Colder water slows production speed considerably. Colder water IMPROVES RO water purity (rejection) slightly.

No effect either way on the DI resin, but as always, the more pure the RO water, the longer your resin will last.
