I have a hospital tank set up with my fish in it getting hypo salinity treatment for ich. I have been using a section of hose to remove water so I can lower the salinity by replacing it with ro water. My question is will I be able to use the hose on my other tanks without transferring ich to them? How long could the ich live on a dry piece of hose? This is the only section of hose I have and I use it to do water changes. If I need to I will buy more hose. But I was hoping to avoid that.

Hose is so cheap, you would be better off having separate hoses.
