I'm thinking this is a version of finger coral, but not sure. Without the blue lighting, it's a greenish color

I am almost 100% sure that what you have there is indeed a green variant of a finger leather coral. The picture makes it a little difficult to tell for sure, but is enough for me to feel pretty confident. Does it look to you like this picture when under blue lights?

its hard to say, to me, because the picture was soon after i took it out of the bag and put in the tank, so any polyps had not come out. it wouldnt surprise me thats what it is. its the closest thing that i could compare it to without any polyps showing
