I have been dealing with what ever this stuff is for at least 6-7 months. This seems to be a colorless slimy organism. I first was dealing with GHA and once I got rid of the GHA this stuff has taken over. Grows on rocks, pumps, sandbed. I have been syphoning it out with 20% water changes once a week on a 45-50 gallon tank. I have even removed the rocks and scrubbed it off but due to infestation it grew back within a weeks time. (Even with scrubbing it still had hold on the rock) This stuff is very slimy like snot lol. It also only grows in lighted areas so i assume it is photosynthetic. As stated i tried water changes ( 0 TDS on RO/DI water) which did not seem to work. I added Phosgaurd on top of the WC and still nothing. I have been running ROX BRS carbon as well.
I currently have 3 fish - clownfish, blue damsel, 6 line wrasse. All small these fish. I use to feed them every other day because i thought this was nutrients related, but no i feed them everyday ( 2 small pinches of flake food or 1/3-1/2 cube of brine shrimp . There is no change with this stuff and feedings.

I Also have a skimmer SCA, and I had a refugium with chaeto but this stuff would grow over the chaeto and the whole refugium. About a 2 weeks ago i have taken the Refugium off.
I did try carbon dosing with NOPOX but this was about 6 weeks ago when this stuff already was full grown.
I have a 10W UV running running for about 2 weeks, if its helped or not i do not really know.
It does not seems to effect SPS corals but does grow on dead skeleton. This has killed My lps due to overgrowing on the skeleton.
i have does acro power but have not recently.
If somebody can help me I would great appreciate it as it seems I am out of ideas.
