May be foraminiferans or Dictyota which grow in patches and requires manual removal with a dental or ice pick. Dictyota will be semi-rigid and foraminiferan somewhat smoother

Following. Looks like they are on coral skeleton. Do they also grow on the rock? When in the water do they have any sort of polyps or feelers protruding? How fast would you say they reproduce?
yes they grow on all of my rock. I started with dry rock and have dipped all coral in baer.

I havent noticed any polyps or feelers but will keep checking.

I really cant tell you how fast they reproduced. As soon as i noticed them, i realized they were everywhere.

I dont know if its too obvious, but they are not on any of my actual coral flesh, just the rocks.
