IceCap Reef 30 Sump is here! Quality seems very good, definitely nice looking. Makes me want to try and stick to blue/white everything in the cabinet
I did that with my tank. I have a fijicube 30 that is blue and white so went with blue pvc pipe and white fittings. I think it came out pretty good.

Tank made it on the stand- It’s a beautiful tank! Heavy sucker for two people, but not terrible. Also ended up installing a dedicated 20amp outlet next to the tank and threw an outdoor waterproof cover on it, why not.

Will likely have some sort of cabinet in front of it for electronics soon anyway, so I won’t have to look at it.

Working on my plumbing , tougher than I thought it would be for sure. Other than upwards angle of the secondary drain, came out pretty good though . Need to order more parts to fix this.

Thanks so much- definitely frustrating at times, but worth it in the end ! ( if it doesn’t leak lol)

thanks for taking a look! Very excited to get up and running soon. Next step: rocks!
Leak is the one big setback

Looking good! Any thoughts on stabilizing the emergency overflow pipe or just let it dangle?
Thanks a lot !! Haven’t thought about it to be honest. I’ll see how it behaves when I test fill in a few days but maybe something to consider?

I used a zip tie and placed a piece of foam next to the secondary pipe in my Trigger sump. Not stellar, but provides some support. Yours is out there by itself, so you may have to fabricate something. May not be needed, but if you ever bump it while working under the stand, you could stand a chance, albeit small, of cracking the overflow.
