It's an Adaptive reef controller board. It's nice, but I think one could make a controller board for a lot cheaper.

I'm off work today because they're installing a new furnance & heat pump, so time to tinker. I moved the UV to the right side first chamber. It's now dumping the water into a filter sock. It's pretty much silent now. Looks a little ugly on that side because I can clearly see it, but I'd rather have it quiet LOL. It now has like 3feet of hose attached instead of 2ish feet but seems to be working well.

I tried cutting the acrylic shelf for the media basic. My cutter that I have just shook the crap out of my hand and barely did anything that's why I just put the UV on the right side haha.

My guess was going to be adaptive reef if you didn't DIY it haha. Also, I would take the UV being quite too over it looking "better"

Good solution. Could you switch the sock to the other side? That would get it out of your sight line too.

I tried, but for some odd reason it didn't want to fit. I thought for a second that maybe they're different dimensions, but then saw the diagram that they're not. It's a tight squeeze for me to get my hands over there so I could of been doing something wrong. However, on the right hand side it popped right in ‍♂️
I also realized the media basket wouldn't go in on the right-hand size because of the skimmers magnets

I received the Orphek OR4 Icon UV/Violet LED bar last night. I test fitted it just to see the colors. It definetly makes some corals pop more. They only ship it with a 1ft cieling cable, so had to order a longer one from Amazon. I'll try to set it up tonight.

Current updated list of what I've got going.

I picked up a few new corals from Pieces of Ocean in Staten Island. Such an awesome shop!

I finally setup the Orphek or4 uv/violet led bar. It was a pain trying to figure out how to make it work with the Aquatic life fixture. It JUST fits between the Kessil brackets LOL.

I have the Orphek behind the kessils & unfortunately, it only covers the back half of the tank. However, with the kessils running it drowns out the Orphek or makes it too violet. I don't want to run the orphek at 100% because I'm really just using it for pop.
I don't if I should run the orphek at start up first at a low % just to see the pop and then turn off when the kessils come on and same thing for at night.
I would also need another one to get the front of the tank. I mean, I have it all setup already....
The orphek defiently makes a few corals pop that the kessils do not at all. Like an Acro I have and a plategrye

Videos consist of:
1) Kessil on
2) Kessil + Orphek
3) Orphek on

Quick update.

I was getting super annoyed with the tunze 9012 producing soo mant microbubbles. I assumed it was because I had the UV plumbed in the chamber next to it, pushing water much faster.
However, i moved it to the opposite end & it still was producing bubbles. I took it apart (what a pain to do). I felt like I was going to break it. Lots of swears later & and I cleaned out the air tube and ressembled it.
I put it back in the tank & the pump would lock up after a few seconds. Obviously, I screwed something up. This wouldn't be a big deal but I dont have much room to work with LOL. The t5 setup limits my ability to move.
I took it back out for the 50th time and took it apart and then let it run in regular water. All seemed okay. I also built a stand out of light egg crate so it would sit higher. Anyway, probably know one reads this, its more for me to look back on LOL.
Now it'd working great. No air bubbles. I think it was a combination of a lot of things.

Height
Flow
I don't think I ever had the top on securely enough causing bubbles to come out
I also think the first time I ever took it apart that I didnt fully clipped the sides back in enough. I believe just the tinies gap the bubbles will come throw.
You were able to hear the hissing of the bubbles just storming. Anyway, that was bothering me so much i was going to throw the thing out

In other news, one of my rock nems not doing so hot. I think i fed him too much and he's been inflating and deflating and not secure to a rock last few days. His color his fine for now. My other 2 are doing great.

Not much of an update.
Had it 3rd coral death. A new rock nem melted within a week. The other one I got with it is doing just fine. The other one i got awhile ago is doing still doing well.
Bought a few mushroom corals, I seem to like mushrooms a lot.

I installed a icecap co2 scrubber Monday night. So far, my high of 8.05 has gone to 8.2.

I also organized majority of the wires to look more neat. What a pain that was. I unplugged each thing one at a time a rerouted it.

Not much to update.
I've bought more corals & have a few more coming this Thursday from Pieces of the Ocean.
Bought a peppermint shrimp in hopes of it eating aiptasia. I've been using aiptasia x but I can't keep up LOL.
Also bought a midas blenny. Its currently in QT. My first time ever running a QT. He's eating & swimming around so that's good.
Also noticed bubble algae that I've been sucking up. Haven't tested my phosphates but my nitrates are 6.

Going to start dosing kalk. I bought a
Kamoer FX-STP2 & won an Avast k1 stirrer on ebay today. The whole process still confuses me but I'm still researching.

Couldn't find one of my rock nems when I got home today. He's been acting weird, fully open but detached from the rock(my other 2 nems are fine)

Luckily, the guard did its job LOL. However, he was still stuck in it pretty well.

I'm so happy I found your thread! I just saw the 80 yesterday and I was really digging it, ha-ha. You have such a beautiful tank and aren't RFA's funny! I hope that little dude is okay, and goes and plants himself somewhere new!

I've been busy so not real much of an update.

The rock nem that went into the nem guard didn't make it

Inverts added:
Tiger conch
Emerald crab
2 turbo snails

Bought a black cap basslet on Sunday. Unfortunately, came home wednesday to it dead in QT. No signs of illness.

Otherwise, still haven't hooked up the avast kalk stirrer.

And hears a video of my pistol redecorating
