After 10+ years out of the hobby I'm finally back. Excuse the mess of wires. I originally did not have any coralvue products, then I started with the launch and then got the kraken. I gave up on keeping it neat looking underneath

Following along!

Oct 2024 a fish & some corals
Tailspot blenny (reefco)

Found a new to me store called Jersey Corals. More so a warehouse. Picked some stuff up yesterday

Back in the day I was never one to really test parameters, just did weekly water changes and tested salinity. I have a bunch of hanna/milwaukee testers and I've got some low alk, low pH (haven't tested phosphorus, need the regents).

I tested the pH of new water last night I in the bucket and it was 8.4. Going to keep testing and see how it goes. Currently my pH is sitting at 7.94 but it's only 9am. It was around 7.8 before Saturday. So far everything seems happy so not too worried

Someone is selling a 60g version of my tank & I might pick that up and call it a day lol.

Great looking corals!

Im getting ready to setup an IM 30l. Would love to see full tank picture and any tips you have on this particular tank.

That's taken from my security camera.

For me it's just redundancy.
Just figure out what you really want in the back chambers. I would love to put a skimmer in the rear but I ran out of room with the dual heaters/uv/Media basket. My algae has been fine, CUC doing great. Just would like it to raise pH

Rockscape with the tank dry. Make sure you have room on all sides. I have more than enough flow with just running the sicce 3.0. I have the right hand mp10 at 15% and I don't even have the left one on

Started getting some build up of algae. I had a bubble magus miniq skimmer that I bought awhile back but never installed. The first chamber I had media basket with filter floss & chemipure blue.

I threw the floss on my UV & the chemipure blue in the return section. I know they say for it to get good flow, but I couldn't put the skimmer in the return section. I tried, too many microbubbles. The skimmer has been running since last night, I think it's making my pH rise, but we shall see by the end of today what the results are. I know takes a bit for it to break in.

I bought a new torch yesterday, labeled crazy lemon. Super vibrant.

Nice looking torch!

Getting a ton of diatoms. Picked up more of a CUC today.
Measured phosphorus yesterday at .054
Skimmer has been doing a great job. Seems to be raising my pH as well. Besides the algae I'm getting great extensions from my corals.

Short video of my clowns and tailspot coexisting

Another short video. Corals are doing really well. Skimmer is pulling out a ton a junk. The tailspot and clowns really enjoy each other's company lol

I'm heading to a new LFS tomorrow. I might place an order for a IM 75g INT since they're having the 20% off sale.
It already feels cramped IMO & my wife is on board for me to get a bigger one . She likes the size we have, but she would like more fish as well.

The 50 dimensions I don't like & I miss having a sump so the 60g is out.

Well, went to a new LFS to me that is a authorized seller of IM called the hidden reef in PA. They had tanks everywhere. In my previous post, I talked about the 75 int. However, one of the tanks on display was the SR80 pro. We fell in love with the dimensions, even though it was an AIO. We ended up buying it. I had to drive an hour away to pick up my mom's suv because we only have small hatchbacks lol. I have to go back this morning to pickup the stand. Luckily, I had a buddy come over yesterday to help me lug the tank into our basement

Tank won't be up for awhile. Have to upgrade a few things now lol.
