Impeller mesh mod material?

What material do people use to make the mesh mod on an impeller? Is there something small that I can purchase that won't consist of 5 feet worth of some screening or pond material?

Aeration

Try using a common sink aerator in the output of your maxi-jet. No impeller mod, nice froth. Some may have more screen layers than others, but are easy enough to combine or remove to increase/decrease the effect.
