What are some of the less expensive but very beautiful fishes in your tank? Please name them and if possible post pictures please. I am at work so I don’t have access to my photos, but I can post a few pictures later this evening.

Let’s limit the price to no more than 50.00 when you bought the fish. If we all posted, this will help new reefers a lot IMO. Here are some of mine on my cell phone:
Red Head Solon wrasse. 17.00 as a young female.

I snagged four damsels (Azure and Blue Devil) for under $25/ea, but I suspect along the coast you'll find a lot better pricing that we do in central Canada.

I have a few cheap fish over here but they can be pricey over there, now what do you class as cheap? I have £25 fish and three £100+ fish

We Americans tend to think there are no where else other than America.
How about relatively inexpensive, about 5X the price of a Yellow tail damsel. Here in Corpus the damsels are about 10.00 so 50.00 dollars or less.

My favourite fish is also my least expensive fish and is the silver belly wrasse and is the most bright vibrant yellow fish I ever seen and also a great pest eater apparently so was main reason for buying it .cost £ 21.99 I believe .

Don't own these fish yet but am debating whether or not to get one or even a pair of Ruby red dragonettes and these are beautiful looking fish and relatively cheap also and also a good pest eater ( again reason why thinking of buying,I do read though that usually best getting them when tank established more so lots of pods for them to eat but it seems alot can be aquired already eating frozen foods but research will have to be done by anyone who wants to buy " ANY FISH :

Royal Gramma. I’m on record stating it’s the best fish in the hobby. End of discussion. No other opinions allowed!

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

Okay!
Hmm.. for $18.83 (£14) I got a Gobiodon strangulatus (The second of my three gobies) for my nano and I will never regret his grouchy face!

I also love my Koumansetta hectori that I got for $43.04 (£32) and he is now making me want to go goby dominant with the variation (The third of my 3 gobies at the moment)
I will attach a photo in the morning

And just because I thought he was dead for 20 days (Gave me a VERY nice surprise one night and scared me) for $10 I got this Pom Pom crab:

That’s most of them for the nano (I’ll have to redo this in the morning due to it missing a few species since they’re asleep) and the main 4’ tank will also be done tomorrow :)

Unfortunately I don't think I have a fish that I paid less than 50 for :(
This will be me soon… I’m now hunting for a bank breaking fish that is around £240 (Xenojulis margaritaceus), I’d be much better if I could find a female though

I actually don't have a ton of super expensive fish......but I bought all of mine online. If you include cost of shipping, everything is more than 50 lol.

I really don't like fish that are expensive. Its just unfortunate for me that the fish i do like are not only expensive, but considered holy grails. LOL

Probably the only fish I really like that is considered cheap is a orchid dottyback.
