Introducing the Hydros Maven

Here is the video if you haven’t seen it. Some really good details. Can even test two tanks on one Maven (must be close in distance). Takes 7 proprietary reagents.

Do you have to supply seperate dosing pumps for it?

I'm super pumped for the Minnow, would be my first entry into automation devices. The micro dosers are much needed. Would consider this too in the future if price is reasonable, otherwise my Hanna testers work fine.

From what I understand for testing it would be no but if you want to dose something based on the testing then you would need them to do that.

So would a launch and a minnow be comparable to an X10? Starting to be a lot of devices…

I want one to where I don't have to know what these other computer guys are talking about. Never wanted to be a computer wiz and thus why I want hydros
You and me both. I have also been looking at Reef Factory for awhile. I just want a simple reliable controller. Too many horror stories on the apex for me to get near that and ghl really screwed up their last release.

Multi-parameter automatic testing has arrived. Test
  • Alkalinity (dKH)
  • Nitrate (NO3)
  • Phosphate (PO4)
  • Calcium (Ca)
  • Magnesium (Mg)

Check it out!

Hydros Maven
Only thing missing is availability to add pH easily. Darn

No, the Launch has no dosing pumps and the Minnow has 2 but they are not precision stepper motor type pumps like the X10.

You do not need pH for what is being tested with the Maven. If you want pH you can always get an X3 and create a collective with the 2. That would also get you 2 more sense ports with the pH.

I have spent way more on reagents than I have on the trident hardware over the years.
Yeah, I think there are two different business tactics here. Charge a lot for the Maven and maybe charge less for the reagents. Or who cares and just charge a lot for both. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
