So my real name is Shane and I’m new to all of this. I’m former military (munitions specialist in the air force) 15 years… I had been researching about saltwater tanks and found that it is good therapy for PTSD. I tried contacting Therapeutic Tanks for Veterans but got no response, so I bought a JBJ 28 AIO. Didn’t know exactly what I was doing so I read a lot , watched a lot of YouTube. I thought I had a good handle on this… lol. Bought a puffer, a Box , blennie, a gobi, a mandarin and a bunch of snails and hermit crabs, two clown fish, 2 anemone… like what the heck was I thinking?… lol. Just so you know they are all still alive… I started 2 more tanks both 10 gal. So I thought maybe I’ll get some more fish, some more coral, and some crabs that like to eat that long hair algae… bought an anemone hermit crab.. . Oh my!! It was a hermit crab on steroids and two anemone practically the size of his shell! His name is HellBoy… he doesn’t bother anyone, but the anemones will grab anything and it makes him mad! They are the reason he can’t have friends.. after eating my shrimp and my scooter blenny and my mandarin I pulled everything out except the box and puff and my gobi, Gobi is smart!! So now I have the three tanks going, my coral and small fish with snails and one with crabs, clown fish and anemone, and my first one that I call the dungeon… I’m still learning and would like to eventually get a larger tank so I’m not running around my whole house making sure everyone is ok, doing feedings, checking waters… I just want one beautiful aquarium so I can just sit and enjoy…
