Hello!
My name is Emily, and I am excited to join this community!
I have just started my first reef aquarium about 2 months ago. I have only owned betas before this so it was definitely a big change. I thought I did all the research I could before setting up my tank, but I never imagined how complicated it really is haha It is a big learning experience, and my tank is doing very well after the rocky start I had.
I currently have a JBJ AIO rimless 45G tank, and it has 3 sponges in it. I am taking things very slowly as so not rush into buying any more livestock.
I would say the the biggest challenges I’ve had so far have been keeping my water levels stable, and trying or organize my wires. My favorite thing I have purchased for my reef so far has been my ATO system.
Let me know if anyone has any tips for beginners, I am open to any and all advice!
