Hi everyone, is it normal for a clown to host a toadstool? And will it upset the coral in anyway ? Thanks in advance

Mine does, and has done so for a few years now. Neither coral nor fish seem to mind at all.

Normal clown behavior.

As long as the leather can remain open some of the time, it won't be a problem. It can hurt certain corals, as I've seen hammers lose a head because of it, but they have skeletons to rub the polyps on.

Yep. It’s normal for clowns to “guest” wave makers, overflows, zoas, any other corals…literally everything but the anemone you want it to

My old clown pair used to host an Acropora millepora… Try figure out that haha.

Clowns host anything, my current one is hosting a 7” bubbled up Ricordea yuma.
