Lol I actually just got the wife a bidet for Xmas. Theres too many reasons I'd never personally use it.

Yep. My experience,,,,. However as a newb donkeys years ago I had a catastrophic start.

I actually think is less stress then prolong time in a bag , I done aquarium maintenance for a number of years and always float the bag and then released fish and place in tank.
that when buying from a source you know and trust help also. You know what they keep their salinity.
Some the of the acclimation recommendations it see are crazy to me , way to long.

That's what I do. Ballo was in that bag floating for temp adjustment about 15 mins, That's the Plop.
Quick as possible. Not dip acclimation. No water acclimation. Just temp. That's the Drop.
Plot and Drop.
I hate to admit a 20min acclimation, a 5 min freshwater dip, then ditch. what the heck is the logic in that? That was a long time ago though.
