Hi All, wanted to ask you what you think about this:
Some nights, When the lights turns off my anemone (which I think is a Malu) closes like this, is normal? For example yesterday didn’t do that, the other day yes, just wanted to be sure this is normal, she eats normally, has the mouth closed and is well stick to her rock.
Thanks all🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Short answer: Yes
Long answer: They will look like they are dying one moment and happy after a couple of hours. Just as long as no slime is coming out of their mouth and they are not literally melting, they should be ok.

My anemone would do this. Usually, it means they are expelling waste. It should open back up and be perfectly normal!

Great answer!
I would also add that as long as the mouth isn't open and gaping, this is normal behavior. They sometimes close up at night.
