I’m going to ask my LFS to allow me to run a test between the two before making a decision. They have the Reef Flare Pro over a tank and love how the colors on corals look metallic and the shimmer is amazing. But unsure if it will grow coral as radions has proven

One question I do have about radion lights, do you need to sign in every time or is it necessary to sign in in order to use the lights via app?

Been on the market for some time and everyone compared the lights to radion’s
If you haven’t heard about them then how much are you actually invested in the reefing hobby
Everyone compares everything to Radions though, lol.

No one must own a radion here because the one question I’m concerned about is if radion need to be signed in to control even though it’s Bluetooth

Haven't heard of them before this.
I see Premium Aquatics carries the line, but don't see any reviews.
Seem spendy.
I do see they are wifi controlled which means control via a computer or a phone.
I prefer my computer.

I don't need to sign into the Mobius app everytime.
I do with ESL.

No you don’t have to sign in every time! You do need to set them up through mobius originally thou.. I’d take reefi uno pros over radion any day of the week! Sincerely… former radion user lol… I’m back to metal halides myself.

What’s the reason for the change of lighting? This will help me make the decision. Main concern is based on stand alone connectivity

Mostly price! I upgraded tanks and wasn’t gonna spend over 6k to get the coverage I needed.. plus I love the halides it can’t be beat!

You have all in one or running ballast?
The all in ones has ballets built in but curious of your light fixture set up.

I remember using 400w MH that heat it gave off was insane though.

Seems I’ll be going with reef factory the cost is better and I do like the look it gives corals. I guess if froth is sacrificed I can add AI blades or some other high power light strips

I think its mainly because they aren't really in the US market. I saw that they are out of Poland.

For me, I go to BRS or SaltwaterAquarium.com for all my equipment and if they not on those two websites, I wouldn't know anything about them. There are obvious exceptions, but Reef Flare Pro isn't one of them.

One other brand to consider might be Orpheks

Seriously thou look at reefi uno pros if you wanna go the radion route! Half the price and way better par numbers and coverage.. my buddy has them on his tank and it’s insane compared to my tank when it was radion lit.
