Is there any way to remove the back wall of the Aquapod 24g Nano?

I'm getting kind of tired of the sump in the back since all of my filtration has to go on the sides and is blocking my lights. And the sump is doing me no good except take up space. I was wondering if there is a way to remove that wall that divides the sump from the main display.

I never took a ral close look at it when it was empty, but looks like its just a plastic insert, obviously glued in but even under the trim its not "sealed" along the top. Atleast mine isnt.
