Sorry you received no assist in the other thread.

In that image is would be impossible to make an accurate ID, we need an image, a macro if possible of the unknown algae type.

Dino appears as snotty strings with the development of bubbles during the photoperiod.

You could very well have Cyano rather dino.

IMO that is not dinoflagellates
It has more of the look of spirulina growth pattern.

I am by no means an expert but from personal experience if you have that much bubble algae a nutrient/po4 issue is at hand anyway.

For sorry I have no phosphate test right now! But I think yes becouse I notice not dissolved fishes waste on the sand lately, my nitrate bellow 10

I think my blue tangs becomes a problem in my 55g system

Update

I do the test above

Water before

IMG_20160525_160910_1.jpg

After 2 hours
IMG_20160525_174650_1.jpg

I have didn't notice any growth in the cub

Also the bubbles almost disappeared from the whole sand bed.

Also my tang keep picking it on the sand, as I know it's will kill the fish if the eat it! Is this correct?
It's almost a cyano ?
