Hi everyone. I have this brownish algae growing in my tank, which is 3 months old. Is this dinos? Thank you for any help.

Does it have long strings and bubbles on the ends when the lights are on? Can you upload a peak light hour photo?

You really need a microscope with 400x to get an ID if and what type of Dino it is. Without one, it’s like putting a drop of blood on a counter and asking someone how many blood cells are in the drop.

Yes a microscope is super important and a useful tool for any future observations in the tank and also around the house. I got the one with the phone holder so I can take pictures. It works up to 400x plus. Got some good pictures of my LCA lol

there are strings but no bubbles, except one spot on my clove polyp. I'll upload a picture when the lights are on tomorrow. Thanks.
Yeah thanks. A pic under white light is better. But an ID from a microscope removes all guessing. It's the best way, or u could spend countless hours fighting something with non efficient methods, including dollars and dollars lol.
