I’ve been told it’s just mucus cones but looked worse today. Treating for flukes with all other fish. Dt is fallow. He was never in display. Had for 2 weeks. Didn’t have white spots before. Other fish have no spots. Trying to get to hypo as well as prazi for 2 more doses. Im not sure what to do. He seems okay but he still has never really ate since I’ve had him. No mysis, haven’t seen him eat pellets, no algae clip just a little from a rock I put in there. What’s best I can do plz help.

Will need better pictures; can’t see anything on fish between the particulates in the water and the dirty glass

These are mucus plugs and likely mixed in with ich. With this, often other fish will not show signs but dont rule them out. I recommend treatment in separate tank using coppersafe at 2.25ppm for 30 full days and add aeration. Also monitor ammonia level with a reliable test kit and consider treating other occupants. Fish also seems a little thin
What foods are you offering it?

Better?

Offering it everything under the sun. Mysis, spurlina mysis, good algae pellets, and nori haven’t seen him eat anything. From above he looks fairly full. Should I go ahead and treat whole tank with copper. 4 fish in tank I have copper on hand but have never used it and sorta afraid to screw it up.

Could I try hypo salinity before copper? Would I stop using prazi, what about the flukes. I want to do it right but he doesn’t look the best right now

As hypo will address flukes, purple does well in hyposalinity and yes you can

So I can try hypo salinity at 1.009 for how long? If it will take care of it all then I would feel more comfortable since I have no experience with copper. I have 2 qt up and running the other is a tub fish seem to be doing perfectly fine I might as well do hypo for both to address all the issues. Doing 100% water change tmr for prazi dose and then redosing and will lower to hypo as well. Will that all work out?

Hypo for 30 days is best. You need to get to full hypo in 72 hours.

Did you see my article on hypo?
