Ah sorry to hear that mate. Yeah I similarly have doubts about the success of my hypo. Unfortunately I don't have confidence that my Hanna test pen was actually accurate. I really should've bought a more expensive and reliable salinity probe.Hello Jay,

It's been almost two weeks now after raising Salinity back to normal in the fish only tank. I've just started seeing white spots on my Powder Blue.
It's only been the odd one or two on a fin or on the body. The strange thing is that they are never on the fish for more than 24hrs? Always gone within a day?
All other fish seem well and healthy.
Any ideas/feedback would be great.

It's so hard to tell if the spots I'm seeing are ick or just normal plugs etc. The problem I have now is that I am starting to build proper bioloads and coral in the DT. If I need to do it again I'm not sure I would put the DT into hypo. It also ended costing a bomb in salt in water changes on the way back up which I didn't think about.
