Is this Lobo a goner?

I just got this Lobo shipped yesterday. The water when opening smelled slightly off. The other frags I got were great. This one, being the largest, however, concerns me. Should I just give up on it and take it out? I don't want it to foul up the whole tank.

The brighter pic is from last night. The darker pic is from this morning. Seems to be worse, but I've never had a Lobo, so would appreciate others' thoughts.

It's a Biocube 32 frag QT, so not additional filtration like a skimmer. Just some carbon and biofilter with regular water changes.

I don't have anything so could get something at the store. Something like Reef Dip from Seachem?

Will the dip remove enough gunk, so I have less to worry about it fouling up the whole tank?

hi ,i think from last pics ,is too far gone :( would remove,cannot hurt to pick up the dip for next coral,dip any new corals ,might want to pick up some more carbon,change out later todat a few hours after removing lobo,dont forget to rinse carbon:)

Just for reference, this is how a lobo should look. The last one with the heavy blues was taken this morning. Should look plump, and you would think they aren't soft, but they are.

I was leaning that way too. I'm taking it out. I have some carbon already rinsed. I also have some water for a water change too.

Yeah, but it's better to accept this loss sooner and not nuke the other frags in the tank. Thanks for that extra voice to push me to do what I was leaning towards.
