So I am scheduled to meet for this 60g cube with eshops skimmer, ecoxotic panorama light with 9 strips, sump and stand. The asking price is $375 usd firm. Only thing it's really missing is return pump, heaters, powerheads.
This would also be my first non nano tank
Is it worth it?
(Mod move if this is posted in wrong forum section)

It probably depends on what you're looking to keep. It's a nice setup with what looks like a good skimmer and sump, but if it were me I'd end up sinking a ton more money into it. So, I guess it would be depending on what you currently have as well.

If you're going to just add to what you've got there, if say totally worth it. If you're going to start replacing parts, such as lighting, it might end up being a money sink

I would want mixed reef. Sps at top lps mid and bottom. I have no extras laying around so I would have to purchase extras as needed

I would look at price new. 1/2 off seems to be the going rate for used, maybe higher if it is in great condition.

If you like the cube dimension, I'd go for it! I'd reccomend replacing the bulkheads before you plumb it for extra peace of mind. I have the same skimmer on my 40 and it is great! I would give the light a try too. Nice find

I'm not going to say you won't be able to keep sps, because you may be able to keep them with that... But I don't think it's going to give you what you want for sps.

I'm hoping to find someone who knows about this light because the internet has nothing about this light anywhere. I may ask to see if he has pics of his setup before it crashed.

Tall tanks are rough... you gotta reach way down in there when your working on stuff and you lose alot of light the deeper it is... id say you would definitely have to get a different light with what your wanting to stock with... not trying to be a debbie downer... Nice tank and sump though... is it a single pipe overflow?
