That extension you got on the BTA really highlighted its colors! I never realized the steams were that green!

Also, sorry to hear about the dead coral. :(

I am just trying to get some details on the color out there. There are so many colors in this guy. yellow, orange, magenta, the bright green streaks. I would hope it just stops morphing on me and stays like this. There are tons I mean TONS of colors in this bta.

I can;t recall who it is, someone actually has a very nice morph of the pink tip bta. It's NICE!!!

I forgot, do you use a filter? If not, you may want to look into getting one. It would showcase the colors a lot better, and really make your coral POP. :D

I do have a filter. But, it doesn't work right. It causes more blur on to the pictures and it only shows the speckles on the foot better.
Plus, I can;t find it now to show a side by side comparison. I lost it :(

They are, slowly. Its okay though. The digi is new, and the bird's nest has been busted up by my urchin and turbo snail. Kept what I could. So, it has a sad life :(

Fighting with the new camera. Here's a current phone photo this morning and the new camera to compare color captures. No filters used, however I am playing with the camera settings. So much to work with.

Finally get to show the lemon lime colors of the tips. The nice yellow which the phone camera won't pick up.



Still fighting with focus, time to set up a tripod I guess.

For today's little journey, I shall take the tripod downstairs. That's right! No more messing around. For one day only. After that. I don't plan to mess with it until next week, or month or year. I still don't know.
I kind of want to get the pink goniopora captured. One is very nice in color patterns. The other is just hot pink. Still very nice. I have a short pink polyp goni, all 3 are different color forms. I love goniopora though. I do love my greens as well. I lost my goni buddling. That isn't easy to raise. :( One day I will get to try again.

Birdsnest has great polyp extension and you can't see the skin well because of it. To the left is the short polyp pink goni.
