There are other options for amoxicillian. As well.

Edit:
2 Options are 500mg. The cheaper one is a dose of 250mg. 3rd option is not worth linking as its 30 tablets at 500 mg.

So, sick goni who refused to open, is now showing some polyp extension.
I'm going to try for better pics. As the goni just ends up being blurry everytime. But definitly extending petals vs keeping them tucked away.

I'm hopeful this goni is going to come back.

But, this puts me in conflict. I need to stop cipro on friday night. This gives the goni 3 nights of cipro.

The inferno needs to keep in the hospital tank to recover from splitting.

I can remove the goni back to the main display and run remaining treatment for 4 nights.

I have a 5g tank setup.
125mg of cipro per 5g.
125mg of amoxicillin

Dose at lights off. Anemone protocol is very different. We wont worry about that. I have not done amoxicillin. Though

But, for treating coral, I'd imagine a 100% water change is not needed. Unless treating for brown jelly disease.
This is where extreme treatment comes into play.

Container: 4 gallon tub
Equipment: heater and small sponge filter of some sort

Kfc dip. It's a lengthy article.

Recipe:

500mg Amoxicillin
500mg Ciprofloxacin
10 leveled scoops of Chemiclean
40 drops - Brightwell Lugol’s Solution
4 Capful - Brightwell Restor (the 500ml bottle's cap size)
Duration of dip: 2-6 hours

You could always treat the Goni in a separate container. Like a bucket with a heater etc.. I think treatment times are 2 to 6 hours? @F i s h y ? Then when the treatment is over return it to the display and repeat 24 hours later. I’ll let others chime in if this is incorrect.

I might do that. But, I'm also sure my tank could benifit from treatment at this point. I really don't want the nems to get sick again.

Honestly, i do not know who invented the dip. But, it was out before 2012. Just more notes of trial and error. Someone had the bright idea of treating brown jelly like it was a humans flesh eating disease. The amoxicillin, worked. It changed how we confront brown jelly now.

Elegance coral disease is still a hard battle.

I typically do 6 hours if the coral isnt looking to stressed outside of tank for 5 to 7 days. I am also having some issues with my gonis that are atypical so i started a full tank treatment last night and will do it for 5 nights. i am doing 1500mg in a 360 gallon system each night, leaving skimmer on, running limited carbon. no changes to light cycle or refugium light cycle. already seeing positive results today. When my po4 bottomed out the gonis took a hard hit. i think they may be battling an infection because they were weakened. ive also reduced the par they are in by moving them under overhangs and to the very sides of the tank.
