Flow, lights, stability.Any bta ive owned never had bubbles , or looked nice like the pictures above .
I should go back to t5I’ve never tested par .
only after asking many times .
the general answer I got was I don’t need to test numbers with t5’s …
The added cost of replacement bulbs , ballasts and heat is the top downfall .I should go back to t5
I have 3 Chinese black boxes that came with the 230 upgrade . They are sitting in the closet .I should go back to t5
I didn’t know they had to be replaced unless diodes stopped working .They say leds need replaced every 3 to 5 years. Both are expensive
Its about keeping the t5 cool. It increased life span of the bulbsI didn’t know they had to be replaced unless diodes stopped working .
but that’s the same .. t5 bulbs were once said to be changed every 4-6 months .
Now they are saying 12-18 months
Wrasse, can get scary! I haven't had a fish who will fight with one. All attempts lead the assaulter running. He a cool l/colourful looking blennie.
I got tail spot and bi colour and love how they twitch their head to eat but hate how they try bully the coral beauty away from picking at the rocks ( the coral beauty usually ignores them and carries on as normal though ha ha .
They don't say nothing to wrasse picking from rocks though ^_^
I love the colors ! Blues , greens and reds is what I loveI am not trying to be a shill here. But, the coral candy from reef chasers is pretty good.
This coral has only extended feeders once in 6 months that I have had it. Also, was on the verge of just dying. You can see where the tissue receded.
After 2 feedings of coral candy, it is looking plump and about to reveal feeders. Success!
It is a very pretty piece, I don't know what coral it is. I just know I have had difficulties keeping it happy. I am glad I have something it really likes now.I love the colors ! Blues , greens and reds is what I love
It isn't a acan. I do have one of these. It's a type of gonistrea (sp) I believe.I would say it looks like an Acan do the feeders come out in the center
Where did you read that? My LFS have had the same Kessil A360X and A160WE over their frag tanks for the past 8+ years, lol. They say leds need replaced every 3 to 5 years. Both are expensive
