Couldn't get a pic of Eli's tail. But, it's a lot better today.
Not sure who did it.
But after some rallypro, the bone has fallen off and skin seems to be mending over.

Hope Eli gets better soon. Sorry about the shrimp.
I'll take pics of the tail once she roams around again. It's a lot better looking really. The injury has made her extra hungry. Reminds me of people I know with broken bones. All of them craved mozzarella.

Still wish I know what the cause was.

I've been feeding her when ever she asks. Healing needs vitamins too.
Eels are very resilient to infection, should be OK. Not an expert.

I agree. And I am not either. But I did ask. And.. I guess no response means she'll be fine. She's acting normal. From hugging the meaty corals. So watching me all the time.

Here we go. I've said it hundreds of times. We do not understand coral and anemones.
Here is hammer land. The pink zoas mark the spot i pulled the bubnlegum digi from. I never could figure out why she never grew. And the other piece is attached to the rock.
20250420_100533.jpg

I thought she just didnt want to grow and kept it there. The hammer for a month sent out sweepers and i decided it was time for a move.

To my suprise. The monti was growing downward to escape the hammer. How it was living and growing in low light is beyond me. The death looks less than 2 weeks of age and some looks to be a few days.
The top is weeks of struggle. Yes, all my fault.

I needed my shrimp to clean my eel. They were her dentist and quill puller. Arrow crab is to eat the spawns of massive bristle worms. Im in a delima.
Coral.banded might not get along with cleaners either. Maybe could try a mates pair of blue or gold coral banded? They are smaller then the regular coral banded and might have less chance of attacking the cleaners

I understand they can be quite aggressive. Didn't @OrchidMiss have one?
I've had several, and they are hardcore scavengers. They will steal food from anemones and be the first to find a dead or dying fish. I have yet to see one attack a living fish, however.

Shrimps dead, and no one even went to eat the corpse. The arrow crab waited for the nightly feeding and ignored the shrimp. who I still need to remove.
