Mine was just a single 400 watt over a 75 gallon tank. Surprisingly it lit the whole tank fairly well, or at least it did as best I remember. It was many years ago and looking back at it I had no clue what I was doing. I wonder if in 15 years from now I'll look back and think how stupid I was for the way I run tank currently?
