I have a similar set up (Reefer 625 G2, ReefMat 1200, ReefWave 45, etc). It’s a great system. No regrets thus far.

I can tell you from experience that the filter roller pulls out a ton of crud and keeps the water very clean. So much so that my RSK 300 skimmer doesn’t do much.

Welcome back.

I have few ideas for power backup.
Maybe a generator or silent protable battery station. Some are rated for long run times, and can handle decent loads. Most are meant to run off solar but in a power outage may not hurt having one around the house for your aquarium. Just roll it over and plug it in.
