Is it bad that I want to stay up all night and watch my tank?? Lol. :p :D

The clownfish are just so beautiful, the shrimp is amazing to watch scavenge for food, and the coral is super cool - watching the mushroom move a pellet all the way across itself to the mouth? Mind blowing.

Morning!

Just fed the clownfish mysis shrimp. Also fed the zoa and the mushroom, and the shrimp. (Wouldn’t that be cannibalism?)

Anyway, the shrimp really liked the mysis. I plan to feed mysis tonight as well.

Get the blackbox for sure. I have an old random one over half of my 40 and it's doing great
Would it be a good idea to keep the Nicrew and use both on the tank? Or remove the Nicrew, and use it has a backup?

LFS doesn't open until 11:00, so I can't call on a brand. :/

The nicrew puck light is great, you could use two. I'm assuming you're using the strip light version? I just got an 18w for my 10g guppy tank
Yes, I’m using the Nicrew Marine LED. I do kind of like it, and was considering getting 1 more, but I think I’ll go with the black box light.

I have a Classic LED on my 20g long freshwater tank and it’s pretty good.

Aiptasia are easy to kill when there are under 5. It's crucial to get to them quickly to keep them under control/eliminated
I’m about to glue it as we speak.

Would I be able to add an orchid dottyback? All my research says yes, but I just wanted to check with you guys.

I don't really know anything about them. If they are peaceful fish I say go for it
They are peaceful to other fish, but not to their own kind. (Other dottybacks)

After looking at them at my LFS yesterday, I’m in love with them!! ;Cat

Will probably get one after I get the new light.

Did a little rearranging!

Cleaned the glass (inside and outside) and cleaned the fake nem.

Moved the mushroom up on a shell, so it has more surface room for the split. It looks like it will split soon!

I moved the cinnamon on the rock work. It’s much happier! :p

I also added the zoa’s on the rock work as well, closer to the lights:

Your tank will look much nicer with the black box. Are you editing the pictures or is it actually that white?

I thought my Ric was going to split two years ago, spoiler alert it hasn't haha. I think that's mainly to it battling algae. Where it's at on a rock turf algae really likes that spot
