I've seen the PVC trim before, but is that a solid sheet you used on the platform?
Yep they actually sell 8’x4’ sheets of it at Home Depot. It’s not cheap though! To me for the basement tanks it’s well worth the money though, the cleanup is super easy and the water resistance gives me some peace of mind.

Happy to say the tank is fully built and should be shipped out Monday! Miracles did a beautiful job!

Got some new Zoas from Ben at BSA Corals. Everything came in looking great and were dipped in my new combination of Polyp Lab Reef Primer and UWC Expel. I know Adam at @Battlecorals uses this combo successfully so figured I would try as well, especially since I cannot obtain Bayer in my state.

First impressions, I really like this combo. The Reef Primer is actually a powder you mix up. I used 4 capfuls to .5 gallons tank water. I mixed it up really well and then added 1.5ml of Expel. This stuff has a potent, almost minty smell. Corals stayed in for 15 mins. It seemed to be very gentle and the one Acro that was dipped had polyps out immediately when put in the display.

So yesterday was the big day! The tank arrived Monday and I had a local moving company come Tuesday to move the tank from the driveway to the stand. They were not quite prepared for a tank this heavy but with some ingenuity got it done.

I don’t think I have posted about this yet, but I am also in process of building a completely separate frag/qt setup. The tank is a 60g low boy, which is 48x24x12. It will be lit by a single 400w Radium in a Hamilton Cozumel fixture with Luxcore ballast.
