Ok, well I am finally getting settled in my new place. I have started to finally work on my 150g build. The tank is a 5x2x2 acrylic with an external overflow box. I will be putting the sump and all of my equipment in the garage as its right behind the tanks wall.
Equipment that I have so far is a Reeflo Dart/Snapper hybrid pump, Warner Marine RS250 external skimmer, MP40, Apex with 2 EB8's, AquaticLife 6 bulb T-5 fixture, Schuran Calcium reactor, BRS Delux RO/DI.
Ive hae some liverock in a bin cycling for a few months now, I will be buying new sand pretty soon. I am thinking about going with Special Grade, any thoughts?
I hooked up my RO/DI unit in the garage, I was lucky enough to have the washer/dryer hookups on the wall behind my tank so I was able to get water from there and used drain line for the washer.
Another thing I had to do was run outlets into the garage because there was only 2 outlets for the whole garage. So I ran a new circuit with a 20A breaker. I only have 7 outlets on the circuit and they will only be for my tank, mini fridge (for fish food), and for my work bench.
Anyway, on to the pictures......

Ok so I had to move my RO/DI a little bit so I can put my calcium reactor on the wall, I also moved the water lines a little higher.

Here I started building a base to sit my sumps on, Its 90" by 30". I plan on using 2 40g breeder tanks as my sump. I have one already and I am picking up another one tonight. The right-hand side sump is going to sit about 6" higher than the first one and is going to drain into left-hand side sump. Right one will hold cheato and rubble, the left one will have the bubble traps and im thinking maybe a frag rack? LMK if you have any suggestions.

Frame does have 2x4 supports going across every 16" but I forgot to take pictures of it.

Put in 1.5" insulation on the wall to help keep the cold/heat out. I will eventually add more to that wall but I just wanted to get the part behind the sump done.

Picked up a 2nd 40g breeder from another local reefer yesterday along with some sand and new bulkheads from TRFS.
I built a base for the 2nd 40b so that it will sit 6" higher than the first one. My plan is to drill the 40b on the side so that it will drain into the lower one, the lower one will be drilled on the side as well so that it can feed my reeflo. I also made a small stand for my skimmer so that the drain could reach inside the lower 40b.

ok, so i though I would be water testing today but nope.....I decided to primer and paint the wood base that I built. I also started to put in my baffles in my sump and refugium, I need to let those cure for 24hrs so no water until Friday probably.

I still need to add another baffle in the middle to complete my bubble trap.

This one just has one baffle sitting up high so that way the water is forced to go down before it drains out the bulkhead into my other tank. The paint buckets are in there because I siliconed a piece of acrylic to the bottom to plug two holes that the tank had.

Very awesome. Your sump/plumbing are really nice. Tons of room to mess with sump and fuge. Well done.
