Has anybody done this with what Jebao calls the “newer” wave makers?

The Sow-20 moves a ton of water, id love to control them with the 0-10v connections on the apex. I’ve seen that the jebao/apex controlled commonly sold will not work. What all do I need to buy to control these with my apex? Do I need to do any programming to get this done? Is it even possible?
Thank you Reef2Reef

@SuncrestReef maybe?

I just plugged a baby 3 prong strip and use my pumps on there with the apex on the last plug. I know there are adapters to use jebao on the apex also. Honestly ticks me off but yk trying to outcompete the competition ig.

Sorry, I have never used any Jebao powerheads, and a quick search did not reveal any info about SOW-20 compatibility with 0-10v control. From what I can see in the SOW-20 User Guide, it only works with the included controller.

They took away 0-12 control a couple models ago. I had a set i thought i could re use on the new build, but no dice. My old ones had it, but they seemed to have gone away from it. I got Octopulse 2s instead.

Any idea how work around the board to add 0-10 V control speed port to a SLW-30 Sine Wave Pump???

There are 3 ic on the board...

1- The microcontroller datasheet https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/pro...ontroller-arm-cortex-m0/xmc1301-t038x0032-ab/
2- The 8 bit shift registry as led driver datasheet https://www.ti.com/product/SN74HC59...oS2pX7UV3sEN4r6hE5BoCFQAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

3- The Operational Amplifier http://rohmfs.rohm.com/en/products/databook/datasheet/ic/amp_linear/opamp/bu7485g-e.pdf

Hey Crew, i'v had my Jebao SW's on my apex for 4-years now and they seem to be getting weak.

I'm looking to get upgrades just incase these SW's fail soon
Was looking at the Jebao SOW 20 and see its more reliable but havent been able to find much regarding controlling it with the Apex 0-10v port

Do we have any members who found a way to control these with the Apex?

There's gotta be a way of integrating 0-10v into the SOW Sine wave controller.

I'm not an electrical engineer but i'm sure we have some engineers here that would know how to do this....

Does a 0-10v analog to sinewave converter exist that can allow us to control these SOW 20 pumps?
