here is my update. quite a few branches have sprouted, one is at least 1/2" and the others are around 1/4". I'm pretty happy with how this piece has grown and colored up for me. 250w 20k radium

Update: one of the forming branches broke from another coral that fell. I left it along and appears the branch has repaired itself . This guy is really taking off

Very nice, mines done a whole lot of not much so far.

Nice progress cj7!

I'm loving this piece but $300 shipped from Jason's website :squigglemouth: Gonna have a few drinks before I have the guts to pull the trigger on this one:wink:

I know I just posted a update pic but it was a top down. Here is a side shot with my cell phone to just show the branch growth.

Is the green tips as bright as a Karl's candlelight?

I've never seen the Karl's candlelight in person but from pics that I've seen I would it is just as bright. If not maybe a tad brighter

zero progress. Also, seems like some of the spread (encrusting) has died off. Any ideas?

What are your parameters? This piece reminds me of the red Dragon, it will do wonderfully but any slight change and it gets ticked off and goes down hill

params are spot on. All my other Sps are doing great. Here is a close up of its position in the tank. It's nearly directly under my lights, and has great flow.
