Jim's nps tank

Thought yall might like to see my nps (non-photosynthetic) tank. I just got it up & going a couple weeks ago.

A bit more than 30gal. It is in my fish/filter room.

They need to be fed a lot, so I made a 1 1/2 gal take to hold a days worth of food. That is pumped into the display tank over 24 hrs.

It has a small power head for mixing & ice probe chiller to keep it cool through the day.

This tanks is where my fug was, so I made a 5gal pod farm tank that sets in back of nps tank & over flows into sps tank.

We'll have another meeting at my house this fall some time. hopefully it will be allot farther along by then.

Actually the nps tank is a ad on to a 180 sps system. I forget that posts on local club site goes out every where. We live up stairs in a barn. Two years ago we inclosed a new room, & set up my new tank (old one was a 30gal finnex).

Need to take a new FTS, this is a few mouth old (things have gone some since)

Jim's tank is beautiful too! And sure the building used to be a barn, but it was a NICE barn and now it's fabulous!!!
