JNS Alpha 1 Biopellet Reactor Question

Looks like the whole body comes off the base and the top is permanently attached. This reactor is going in the chamber after my Protein Skimmer...... I need to modify the output to run over the baffle and return into the protein skimmer section of the sump.
Anybody modify theirs or have any suggestions ?
