I got the 20" Current Satellite with a single 40w Dual Actinic bulb. Having it and the SunPod on the tank are a tight fit and it looks a little funny, but it's worth it as I think my zoas were starving for blue light. If I can keep the growth rates I'm having AND get them to keep their colors, I will be very very happy!
Once the camera's batteries are charged back up I'll get a shot of the lighting for you.
A buddy of mine in New York actually bought it from Reef Envy not too long ago and had it shipped to me. He said to grow it out and send him a polyp if he ever sets up a tank. Knowing him, it will probably be a full colony by that time. The funny thing is he originally had me looking for a bright orange Rhizotrochus after he saw this pic: http://pds.exblog.jp/pds/1/200512/25/72/a0017072_1037128.jpg Wish I could have found him one...
gotta get a top down shot, Jon.. I love it when you take those top down shots as I get to see all your awesome zoas and palys on your DFB (deep frag bed)..
You got it Marv.
Not as easy to take now that the Satellite is on the tank and the zoas get mad when I move it off the tank to take photos, but here ya go:
Things got thinned out a little bit, and I went from battling Caulerpa to battling a different algae, Champia I think, so I haven't been too trigger happy with the camera. I'll get some pics once things settle back in.
I really need to take some pics of my 20g prop tank. It went from being "the swamp" full of overflow corals to being a nice running system that seems to be outperforming my display tank.
While fighting the Red Plague of Asparagopsis macroalgae, I decided to turn my AquaPod into a "stony reef" and moved all my zoanthids/softies into my 20g prop tank.
Here's a pic of the 12g AquaPod now:
My Duncan from a local place, justcoral.com. The actinics really washed out the color, but it is as green as any ORA one I've seen:
