ahhh decisions decisions! how have you felt about the stock pump? Think it'll eventually get upgraded?

Ahh yes mine did stop working a few months back and i replaced it with the axis40. Which is pretty fast for a pump to fail to be honest.

The axis 40 is nice, way over priced but it fits in the app with my other AI gear.

Update.

Added the pinkstreaked about 3 weeks ago or so. He's doing great. Added a Kamoer f1 doser for all for reef. At 4.5ml a day atm, and 1.4ml of neophos daily still.

Just picked up a raja rampage, favites, and leptastrea. Have never had any of these types of corals before so excited to watch them grow.

Just a quick update with a long view picture. Still dosing 4.5ml AFR and currently stopped dosing Po4 as it is .03ppm two tests in a row without daily dosing. Will keep monitoring.

Everything is doing well. All growing. Though they seem to be growing fairly slow besides the poccilipora.

Good water change last night.

Alk consumption has been increasing pretty steadily so I've had to keep eye on that
Dropped to around 7.1 and i worked it back up 8ish. 6.5ml a day of AFR now.

Still dosing Neophos every other day. I get readings of 0 alot and .01 sometimes.

Everything is growing and doing well.

Good question.

No on fish. 2 clowns and one pink streaked wrasse seem to be a good number.

Yes on coral. I want to start adding classic acros. Oregon tort, pink lemonade, garf bonsai, etc.

Also have another nero 3 on the way so i can have multi directional flow.

Those acros seem like a good addition! I've always loved the way the garf bonsai has looked in reef tanks!

Added another Nero 3 in preparation for acros. Was hoping to keep it on the overflow wall but i cant find a good spot that doesn't turbo blast the sand or block the overflow from skimming the surface well.

I live about 3 hours from WWC but lucky the wife had a business trip this weekend. Went with her and low and behold they had 40% off acros this month. Good timing!

Mounted all the acros. Quick shots for growth recording(forgot to clean glass)

Also up to 6.5ml a day AFR and I've had to suppliment 5ml a few times to give a little boost.

Hey I was wondering if you knew the dimensions for the 90 elbow and how did you get the axis 40 hose to fit on the stock elbow? ( currently using the 0.75 id but can't get a tight seal and it's leaking )

If i remember right. The axis 40 came with a few barb sizes. I used the barb that fit the stock hose. I just cut the tubing shorter so it would fit back together

Quick photo updates. Everything is going well. Up to 9.5ml of Afr a day split into 2 doses. I think i have p04 stable at .02 but keeping an eye on it. ALK 8.2.




Pictures are a little blue. Can't find my lens so i just turned up the whites on the lights.

Quick text update. Tank is still going strong no casualties. Havent tested water in 6 months or so and very few water changes in that time. Life with a 2 year has taken over.

Will update with pictures if i ever get to it. Everything still growing.

Photo of my pink streaked wrasse.



Dead center is the pc rainbow. Mounted it 3/7/25. It's been very pale, put out a base, and kind of stalled. Like most of my acros.




New tnt anacropora. Needed a coral with some orange/red.



The Spongodes has done very well. I break it all the time while doing tank maintenance and it's still pretty big.

This is my original acan. Went from three tiny heads to this puppy. And you can see the new German blue digi



Lastly a quick shot to show how ridiculous the pocillipora has gotten. I've broken off tons of it to try to keep it at bay.

Yea I run it at 35%. Quiet as can be. My filter tower restricts how high i can put it. Got floss/carbon/sponge/marine pure.

I've debated just taking that all out and putting a filter roller. But I've kinda always run a similar setup in all my tanks. Old habits die hard.
