Hello to everyone!

Just read again Randy`s article about kalkwasser potency and have some questions.

Does a drop of Kalkwasser lose potency while traveling from the feed tube to the water surface? And does it lose potency upon contact with the surface film of the water?

Does the height of the feed tube play a role?

Are you asking about in the kalk reservoir?

When you first dissolve it, it is uniform throughout the reservoir. It generally does not lose potency if covered. There is some precipitation of calcium carbonate at the surface, and that crust can actually prevent further loss of potency.

In general, however, loss of potency is not significant as long as you are not stirring it and it is closed.

Oh, ok. It does not list potency falling through the air and into the tank, nor once it touches the tank water.

It is important ti add to a high flow area to mix it in quickly and not have a high concentration in a small spot.
