Howdy,

Does anybody have any par readings for the kessil?

I have a 30 gallon innovative marine AIO and I'm looking to get rough par measurements for two kessils over this tank.

Douple bump! Would like to know as well. thinking of getting 2 the A160we to replace my black boxes over a softy/lps tank. also looking at BRS's video on sapcing, i'm wondering what spacing would be appropeiate for these. It looks like the standard bisecting stuff is a think of the past for even spread.

I rented a par meter and have some insight to shed - I'll post my diagrams tomorrow

I have several a160's and a neptune pmk. at about 12" deep they produce about 60 par on a 12×12 space with a mounting hight 6 in above water. I didnt do the whole brs grid thing but I have data from when they would turn on to boost the light from a ap700 as it wasn't enough.

Last time I was at wwc they had 2 of the a160's zip tied together over a 30" cube. so should work fine

60 Par @ 12"? Hmm maybe i should be looking at an a360. My tank is 18" deep and 4ft long. Was hoping 2 a160WEs would work. It's Softy and LPS. Maybe i should be looking at an a360.

Here's 100 percent at various depths of a 30 gallon AIO some are high and some are low - too chart is right under the surface

Here is a 34 gallon deep blue tank at 100. Frag rack is 3 inches off bottom

on a 4ft at 18" by it's self I would say...no.. I also have a 36" 36 gal with 2 a160 tuna suns and it barely grows plants imo
