I wasnt sure of where to post thus lighting vs. controllers.

Something has happened with my kessil controller. I have 2 A360WE tuna blues on my tank at work. Now when i program max intensity and max color (no blue), I get mid range results - its still very blue and not particularly bright. When I unplug the controller and use the knobs on the lights directly I get the bright white color I am accustomed to. What am I doing wrong? Did the controller cord go bad? Did my controller drift out of phase somehow?

Thank you in advance.

You've probably checked this but I'll ask anyway, are you sure the cord was plugged in all the way? I had a similar problem and after pulling out my hair to find the problem it was due to the jack not being plugged in all the way, I thought it was but it took a little effort to get it plugged in properly.

It turned out to be something similar. I had installed new fixed mounts and tried to run the cord through them. It turns out that I had pinched the cord. I pulled it out of the mount and ran it alongside.

I wish I had figured this our prior to losing two of my BTAs and a few of my SPS corals.

And still cheaper than replacing the lights.
