Kessils and.....

Looking for some input. I'll be ordering a tank soon and i'm looking at a 48" x 20" x 20" tank. I have a pair of kessil A360w already but I wanted to add another set of lights to the kessils.

Whats a better mix?

The Hydra 52 or Photon 32 would go in the middle of the Kessils.

The 3 Primes would work with 1 in the middle.

This was my first choice but I was looking into an all led option. I had an ati fixture previously.

8020 frame with either reef breeders LED bar or Orphek LED bars would be a good options

If you want to stay LED, why not add a third Kessil... maybe the 360X? Those 360's are designed to cover 24 x 24 mixed reef, 18 x 18 full SPS. You would be more than covered... link them with K-links and use the wifi dongle or Spectral controller.

I have the kessil and reefbrite combo and i like it alot. The kessils are the main powerhouse while the reefbrites cover any shadowing. I also like how the corals look under that setup more then the t5 and kessil but its all personal preference at the end of the day you cant go wrong with either. I simply did this because i dont want to hang anything from the ceiling.

Really like the orphek bars just don't like that you can't dim them. I like being able to dim to 0% and another reason i'm considering mixing the led fixtures. It looks like the reefbreeders bars are dimmable. hmm
