What kind of fish is this? Never seen a fish with a head like this...

Looks like a juvenile queen angel going through the color change to adult colors that survived a huge bite being taken out of it's back.

I am NO fish expert but that head does not look normal to me..... Following because Im curious to see what people with more experience suggest.

No expert, but that looks more like a healed trauma more so than a genetic/environmentally caused thing …

Possibly a genetic deformity, like this “pinch” in my Purple Tang. (Had it since it arrived as a 2” fish.)

Looks like it’s had a chunk bitten out of its head in the past and recovered but it’s definitely a juvenile queen that’s transitioning.
