The growth of my montiporas is just insane for the moment.

!5 days ago - after some aggressive "fraggings" - it looks like this

Today - after 15 days - you nearly can´t see the disaster .....

My top off pump just stop to work a month ago. I try to run the top off with help of a normal GHL 2 doser but the capacity was to small for my taste. Bought a cheap dosing pump ( I bought 3 - 2 reserves) that pump the double compared with the GHL - and it has work as a charm.

For the moment - I dose 59 ml of each ingredients in Triton Core 7 system a day. It is in a 310 L system (around 80 gallons). Its rather much but I have 5 clams there 4 are between 14 and 20 cm in length. PO4 - between 0.05 - 0.1 and NO3 around 1 - 5 ppm. I dose small amounts of NH3/NH4 each day, Also dosing Iodine, strontium, manganese, vanadium and iron every day. No regular WC. I did dose Rubidium but when I check that - it was a little elevated and I stop that dosing for the moment. Yesterday I started dosing around 1 ppm NO3 too.

Attached - last Triton test

Plate montipora grow a lot and overshadow other corals. I took them off my tank because of that, although the combination of the red-brown one a and the fluorescent green is very nice.

I like the DIY setup for the top off pump. I agree with you, the GHL dosers are too slow as top off. I have a Litermeter but it is too noissy for my taste.

This **** pandemic will make me healthier than I was before :D:D The reason why I got the bike was my travelling to my part time work. People above 70 is recommended not to take public transport and a bike was a better alternative than the car ( despite 22 km one road) and if rain comes - I can (could) take the train (and hold my breath) half the way :D.

Yes - but 40 km with an electric bike that only is allowed to give assistance up to 25 km/h give some exercise - it is at least 6 kilo of me that probably is somewhere between my place and work :p:D:D

Absolutely! I LOVE my ebike! You can get a heck of a work out with it too! Mine can go 28 mph but it scares me going that fast! I think it is around 40-45 kph! It assist you going faster but does not do all the work. I presume yours does the same?

Yes it the same but the law in Sweden says that they are not allowed to get assistant higher than 25 km/h (15.5 mph) after that it is all your work. Even below 25 km/H you have to do a work out - you always have to pedal and you chose which assistans you want. But the difference is uphill. Up to our place - we have a slope around 10 - 12 % during 500 meters - take that with your trike :p:p:D

We get a kitten a couple of months ago - yesterday he was 4 months old. He has shown just a little interest for the fish and not try to climb up on the upper part of my aquarium yet. But he is climbing everywhere. We have to net the whole terrace otherwise he had follow down the first day. We live on 6th floor. The terrace is more like the old Alcatraz these days - therefore the cat´s name is The parentheses of Alcatraz (he has a parenthesis in his forehead) but mostly named "kattusling" in Swedish (cat wretch in English) because of all crashed flowerpots in the windows. However it is autumn here in Sweden - the trees lose their leaves and they get stuck by the wind in the net cover. Very interesting for a kitten - but to high for catching. We decide to test if the cat was able to figure out how to catch them if he get the right tools. This is the first time we do this - just watch what happens

As I see it - it is only a matter of time before he figure out how to fish in my aquarium

That is exactly how my ebike works too. We did 20+ miles yesterday to celebrate my birthday! The only thing that makes hills fun on the trike is getting to back down!

Hi Lasse,

I love what you are doing on the forum as well as your tank. I read the first many pages of your tank build months ago and am glad to see it is going so well. You had designed some really interesting filtration for it. I would like to incorporate some of your ideas into the system I am designing now. I would like to read the other 100 pages of this thread one day, however I am most interested in what is working for you right now. I am wondering if you could offer a short description of your filtration, sump, and hardware are right now.

Thanks,

Wendell
