My green finger leather all of the sudden shriveled up. Been that way for almost a whole week. Not sure what’s wrong. Any help? Both my LFS and i have tested water and it’s great. Any ideas? Just want it to thrive!

Do you have a FTS? Mine likes more flow and light.

Also it’s in the middle of my biocube tank. Pretty high light pretty high flow. My torch coral is set lower in the tank and is happy and flowing.

Leather corals shed every month or so where they close up for a week or so, you can speed this along by squinting it with a turkey blaster or holding it i front if a power head for a short time,

Assuming all parameters are even remotely in check this is my best guess as leathers are pretty challenging to kill

I have the old biocube and my son has the new led one. Both tanks have leathers. His led, they like it in the top 1/3 of the tank with some flow.

I have the new LED biocube. He’s about half way in tank. I haven’t seen anything peeling off it or anything..

I have had the water checked and I’ve checked it as well. No nitrates no nitrites no ammonia salt is 1.024 if i remember right ph is 8.0. I haven’t seen anything fall off or peel? Will i if that’s the case?

Don't worry Mordie . It's just pouting over being in a new place water ,light, flow . Even If it did come out at the beginning. I think they even shed their skin every so often. Just watch it. I "think" it will be OK.
