Leather shipping tips

Hello

I need to get rid of a large devils hand and all of the folks interested in buying it need it shipped. Does anyone have any tips on shipping and packaging a leather? Overnight I assume, double bag, foam cooler, heat packs, what shipping company, how do you estimate shipping cost for this? I want to give them a quote without doing a ton or work in case they change their mind. Any tips are appreciated.

IME leathers need to be transported in large bags with a lot of water - especially if the total time in the bag is + 24 Hours.. It use to be rather costly.

Thanks. I'm sure it won't be cheap for sure. I'm trying to figure out if it even makes sense to ship it but I guess it depends what someone is willing to pay for shipping.

AS mentioned lots of water and all of your tips you listed. Maybe adding bags inside the bag with the coral and water to help stabilize the coral inside. I would also NOT rip the coral off the rock it's growing on now. If it's a big rock use a hammer and chisel to make it smaller. Keep the bottom of the coral covered with rock.
There are a couple places that give discounts. One I've used was pirateship.com and I've heard of another called shipyouraquatics.com
