Don't know how cheap you want to go but you can buy one of these and put in a reptile clip on light and it would work great.

Just a led bulb that does promote alot of growth in your fuge and it's simple and not so expensive here is a link you can look at coralcompulsion.Com you can look here or search the Web some places are cheaper. But for the money they work great.

I saw a nice one from Eshopps a white curve one but they want $75 for it. I kinda want to spend under $40 since you will hardly see it and I need a timer for it anyways.

Just go to your local home depot and buy a gooseneck light that clips on and buy an led bulb and a time should cost you less Than 60 bucks..

I would go for it it will work either one I don't know how big your macro area is you lighting in your sump. I know mine I have a 12" area I have to light up.

Put it on a timer that's what I did with mine turns on when main tank light goes off and turns off when main tank light goes on. Beats all that unplugging stuff and going under your stand[emoji16]
