I'm planning on changing my lights out for some reef lights. I currently have a marineland reef capable, and want to switch to a marsaqua or something equivalent. My tank size if 60Lx18Wx24H and the light will be 8-10in off the surface because of my canopy. I'm looking to grow sps and lps with the lights. Does anyone have any other suggestions or recommendations on other lighting products or does anyone know where to get maraqua led with digital timer built in. My budget is around $400 to light the whole tank.

Black boxes, a lot of people have great luck with them. Join the Facebook site and go with group buy. That's if you want LED lights.
