He’s just about an inch. Tiny is about right. Easily lost in my reef. When will it start the transition from female to maleM. ornatus. Tiny guy!
When can I expect to see a change from female.to maleM. ornatus. Tiny guy!
Maybe next month, maybe never. It's based on the hierarchy in your tank, and there's no way to predict such, unfortunately. When can I expect to see a change from female.to male

(and for everyone else's sake, it's C. rubeus)
Invisible wrasse! This guy hides under a rock all the time. I’ve had him three years. He just started to come out and now spitting gravel on corals.
What color changes except the head change? I can't find pics of terminal male of it. Anything change besides the purple head?(and for everyone else's sake, it's C. rubeus)
Just transitioning to male...
I can't ID your wrasse, because it's not a wrasse.
It's mostly the coloration of the fins that increases. And the blue markings become more prominent. What color changes except the head change? I can't find pics of terminal male of it. Anything change besides the purple head?
